Hanna Geiger Interiors was shaped over time, through a career that has never lived in just one lane. The work has moved between real estate, development, staging, and design, each piece informing the next and building a more complete understanding of how a home comes together.

Hanna has lived in downtown Charleston for over a decade, with the past six years spent working closely within the city’s residential landscape. Early on, that meant staging homes at scale, preparing hundreds of properties for market. It was a fast, hands-on education in how people experience space, what draws them in, and what ultimately holds value. From there, the work expanded into development, with development projects of her own.

That range of experience created a different lens. One that looks beyond surface-level design and considers how a home is built, how it functions day to day, and how it will live over time.

There is also a deeper, more personal foundation behind the work. On her father’s side, construction has been a constant, with her brother continuing a five-generation lineage in the trades as a plumber. On her mother’s side, her great-grandparents owned what was once the largest furniture store in Colorado, instilling an early appreciation for materials, craftsmanship, and the quiet impact of quality materials.

That intersection of construction and fixtures continues to shape how Hanna approaches every project. There is a respect for what exists, an understanding of how things are built, and a belief that materials should speak for themselves.
